One way to deal with the increasing number of mentally ill patients on road is to develop community mental health care. It will help in two ways, first human rights of the mentally ill (in line with the UN declaration of 1991) as well as developing an institution for such people.
To utilize all resources and devote all services to the Mentally ill, Homeless, Family less roadside destitute.
Not a single roadside destitute will sleep hungry.
These are unfed, unclothed, uncared and separated from their families.
More than 1500 of these peoples are to be found on Highways from Ahmednagar and entire district.
Care with human touch will ensure treatment model including mainstream medicine along with Homoeopathy and
Ayurveda.
Psychological therapy, Occupational training,
Vocational guidance with reintegration with communities.
Unique and Indigenously adopted approach of custodial care for rehabilitation.
It includes and combines a composite approach of socialization, occupational engagement along with proper medical intervention.
This is the unique project of its kind. As we know mentally ill person are heading towards darkness. No hopes, no support. Their life is lonely and miserable.
